Mike J. McAllister is an award-winning filmmaker, video editor, director, writer, animator, and podcaster.
For years, McAllister has produced a number of independent projects as well as content for Austin-based entertainment website OneOfUs.Net. He continues to enthusiastically explore multiple avenues in storytelling.
Throughout the years, his body of work has explored all corners of entertainment. Celebrating a love of cinema and popular culture, bringing along eye-catching motion graphics, an off-beat sense of humor, and love for genre. His short films have played in film festivals around the world and his screenplays have been acknowledged in screenwriting contests such as the Los Angeles International Horror Festival and the Vancouver Badass Film Festival.
With OneOfUs.Net, he has brought a distinct visual flair to the channel, taking influence from mainstream entertainment broadcasting with fast-paced editing and a sense of humor.
He has also lent his talents to Twitch streamer JulienMisterHemmendinger, YouTuber and TikTok creator ChicagoJon, California and Wisconsin-based production company Redacted Media as well as monthly cinema showcases The Roxy Horror Picture Show and One Man's Trash at the Blue Starlite East Side Cinema in Austin. The former of which was also at Austin's Violet Crown Cinema.
Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, he currently resides in Austin TX.
